The Mac rebound

Paul Graham has written well about the Return of the Mac. One thing he says I think is interesting is this;

If you want to know what ordinary people will be doing with computers in ten years, just walk around the CS department at a good university. Whatever they’re doing, you’ll be doing.

Email obfuscating WordPress plugin

Mar 24 2005 Published by kevin under Technology

Here’s the plugin I didn’t know I was looking for. The Obfuscate E-mail plugin for WordPress makes using email addresses on your WordPress powered site much easier and a bit more secure from spammers. If you use an email address in your post this plugin substitutes the text in the address with random ASCII and hex code.

This will make my life much easier for one WordPress driven site I maintain that frequently requires I post several email addresses at a time. Doing this by hand using Dean’s Obfuscator was getting tedious. Here’s hoping it will stand up to those nasty spambots.
